EP "Chansons de Nadja Bernadette" ...

by Anna Mae

Hi everyone,

It's finally time to say that my new EP "Chansons de Nadja Bernadette" is out today. I'm so excited and I couldn't be happier that another dream of mine has come true! I dedicate this very personal EP to my mother. "Chansons de Nadja Bernadette" is a combination of two very iconic genres: Americana music and french Chanson. Inspired by artists such as Johnny Cash and Hank Williams, Edith Piaf and Jacques Brel. The idea for this very project came to me last winter in Chicago and Luzern. Learn more about it in this short video.

My new EP is available on streaming platforms (Spotify), Bandcamp, and as a physical copy via cede.ch as well as at Old Town Record Store in Luzern, Switzerland.

Furthermore, here's one special date for your agenda that I'd love to underline: THU 12th October 2023 / 7pm at Old Town Record Store in Luzern. That's when I will be performing an intimate gig to showcase my new songs and tell you the story behind the EP. Entry is free, hat money. I'm looking forward to welcome you!

Lastly, I don't want ot miss to thank all the lovely people involved in this project
Steffen Peters (producer) and Soundfarm Studios
Anna Murphy (mastering)
Hanna Vinter & Claude Paschoud (writers)
Rafi Woll & Lukas Blattner (drummers)
Gabriel Yaacoub (a-guitarist, bv-singer)
Christian Winiker (e- and lap steel-guitarist)
Jamie Wagner (sound engineer in Chicago)
Brian Wilkie (pedal steel guitarist)
Josh Piet (upright bass)
Alton Smith (accordion)

I'd like to thank you all as this project wouldn't have been possible without you. Also, I'd like to thank Jamie Gannon for the graphics as well as Justine Rutz for the photograph inside the booklet.

That's it for now. I hope you'll have fun listening to the new french tunes!

All the best, Anna Mae
